Replying to your question about if Donnie is dead or not, no, he isn't dead. I read the comic book after the incident and he is just in a coma. He's in a coma but a couple smart friends of the turtle's help figure out a way to put Donnie into Metal Head's body sorta. He kinda controls Metal Head with his mind. But while he's still in a coma. To find out more info, I suggest reading the comic because, heck, what do fangirls and fanboys know? Unless it says, "Donnie now has officially died" in the comic, it's most likely made up.
