Today's training was odd .
Hermes had only give fifty push ups to all the inmates for their training. And *only* fifty push ups. It was definitely strange. He still had the energetic attitude within him, but it seemed to be different than usual. And when he was asked why, just in case it was some prank, he would just playfully threaten them by asking if they wanted seven hundred instead. So the question was just shot down .
Since there was mostly free time, many inmates chatted with the prison guard just for fun. There was no weird behaviour coming from the brunnette as he laughed and smile brightly as per usual .
And when everyone had left for their cells, he sat down on the ground with a heavy sigh. He could feel his hands shaking and sweating, definitely not from training. He let out a soft chuckle before rubbing his teary(?) eyes. A sound was heard by him as he looked behind to see the pink-haired girl, his eyes widened at the sudden appearance .
" What are you doing here ..? "

His expression twisted into confusion and ... pain? Yet, the smile was still there. It was still there yet it felt like it wasn't a smile at all. His eyebrows furrowed as he rubbed the back of his neck .
" Ahaha, thanks for the advice but I'm fine. Please don't get worried about me, I can take care of myself ! " His tone sounded confident, yet his hands were still shaking. He could feel himself bite the inside of his cheek to hold in any tears from escaping his eyes .

He laughed, but a hint of sorrow was there. It was obvious that he was forcing himself to laugh. He didn't want her to feel worried for him after all, since what he was shaking about was nothing connected to her. So it shouldn't be her business. Besides if she stayed any longer ...

" You should really get back to your cell though! I'll just stay here being all fine and dandy, don't worry ! "
He chirped with his shaking hands hid between his legs .

The brown-haired male waved as he walked over to her in the courtyard. They had just finished training for the day, and all the other ( very sore ) inmates were going back to their cells. But for some reason, Hermes called for the girl to stay for a while. He had his phone with him too .
" So there's this manga called One Piece(tm) and my friend kept urging me to read it. And it just seems s u p e r long so I wanted to ask someone if it's worth reading. But I couldn't find Apollo so I decided that you would be the next best choice so I wanna ask if it's- "
He then stopped, realizing that he was rambling way too much. He did remember the events last time, and it really stuck to his head. He let out a small nervous chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck with an apologetic smile .
" Sorry, you must not want to talk to me right ? "

He blinked a few times before laughing at her gestures, trying to stifle them with one hand. He never knew she could be this quirky, it was nice. Calming to him even .
" Same goes to you then . " He hummed, finally stopping himself from laughing as he flashed another grin at her. He then got up, ruffling her hair . " Alright, now go back to your cell okay? Your supervisor will get worried . " He chuckled, pulling back his hand and holding the tip of his hat .
