            Yumi paused and sighed. “I don’t know. I feel something is going wrong but I don’t know what it is.” She said and ran a hand through her hair.

            amity watched for a while, silent as ever. finally, she stepped in front of yumi, holding a piece of paper in her outstretched hand. 'what troubles you?' it said in meticulously neat handwriting.

            she shook her head, pulling out a small pad of paper. She scribbled for a moment, before showing him the page, which read "INFECTION" in meticulously neat writing. 

“Oh…uh thanks? I guess. You didn’t really need to do that, you know.”

            she reached into the satchel again, pulling out a small packet and tearing it open. Inside was an alcohol wipe, which she carefully used to wipe his finger.

            amity flinched, although she looked more deeply concerned than offended by the other's tone. she tied a tourniquet above the wound before starting to carefully clean it. a numbing cream was applied soon after as she prepared for stitches.

            amity's eyes popped open, her head lifting off the pillow with a start. she looked side to side, remembered where they were, and seemed to relax a bit. she almost never napped, so waking up from one was odd. "what....what time is it?" she whispered.

            Aurinko didn’t move the whole time. She slept peacefully and held Amity close. After several hours, she began to stir.

            amity stayed completely still, too worn out to stir for hours. at some point, she shifted to grip the bottom of aurinko's shirt, as if to make sure she was still there.

            "I don't know, panic? walk everywhere?" she teased, before shutting the door. she made a quick trip of the store, keeping her head down. she was back to her mute, reserved self outside the house. in about half an hour, she returned with a couple of bags, setting them on the counter.

            “Okay… I’ll try to make the side dishes while you’re gone.” She nodded.” Thank you, Amity. I don’t know what I would do without you.”

            "it's going to be okay. I will have a good day if I'm with you" she looked over the paper one last time before grabbing her coat and shoes. "I'll be right back, okay?"
