            I’m doing well enough though recently been lacking the motivation for university and have been thinking of going into something more practical but still not too sure, haven’t really been keeping up at all with assignments and been putting in more hours of part time work, it’s not good but it’s where I am right now.

            Honestly, been going through some things and haven't had much of a break. Been swamped since the holidays and had to take care of things. Didn't help either that my brain hasn't been working properly. lol 
            
            I have been trying to write whenever I can but things just aren't coming out right. I've probably rewritten things over a dozen times. And I'm barely about 20% done. There's a lot that needs to be said with many paths about to cross in this next chapter and this chapter is gonna start making things happen/go faster.
            
            With that said, I haven't given up. Just doing as much as I can whenever possible so hopefully soon things get flowing again.

Sorry I only just noticed this msg, I’m doing good and university is going well, and I’ll be looking forward to the next chapter so we can have more thought provoking discussions. We don’t celebrate thanksgiving but my Christmas was quite nice and I hope yours was too, I’m looking forward to the next chapter and hope it comes soon. Also hope you had a happy new year

            The next chapter's outline has been done for a while but I just couldn't focus on it because of other problems I had to deal with. Thankfully, some of it has been dealt with and now that I can relax a little, I can put more focus onto writing the next chapter. There's a lot that needs to be said so it'll probably have many things happening so I don't know when it'll get done. My goal is to have it posted before the end of this month. 
            
            Also, when should I expect some more thought provoking discussions from ya? haha

            No worries buddy, I gotcha. University can be tough and that's not even counting all the other stuff that life can throw our way. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for ya buddy just like you support me in my writing.  
            
            Glad you liked it and wanted to show their relationship growing to actually be a father/daughter type. Kids are resilient and can bounce back quickly, but it still takes some time. 
            
            Next chapter is gonna have several things going on that will build current plots while also adding a few more. I think after a couple more chapters, I'm gonna start moving the story along faster (time wise) because it'll have the foundations properly built by then.

Yeah I’m in India right now with family I’ll be here for 2-3 weeks and then I head back to London. Things are going well but I have course work from my university which I have to do during the break, it’s been enjoyable so far and reading your latest chapter made it even better, I’m eagerly awaiting the next chapter. How are things going with you? I hope you’re having a good and enjoyable summer and that you are getting plenty of rest and relaxation 

@krispypencil Hey buddy, glad to hear you liked it. 
            
            Yeah, I never did like Izuku hiding where he's coming from. And this was a good way to bring it out into the open in a way that is realistic and stays true to their characters even with how much Izuku has grown. 
            
            Katsuki coming back next week and dealing with his aftermath is gonna be fun to write cause what I have in store will be part of karma coming back to bite him but will he learn or not and change, is the question. 
            
            Yeah, I liked that scene too with Momo and Ochaco. You don't see many decent stories with those two as good friends so hopefully this will be one of them. But don't worry, I haven't forgotten about their old friends Kyoka and Tsuyu. They're important too. 
            
            The guys' reactions is gonna be varied for sure. A good portion will end up gravitating towards Izuku because of his honesty, bravery and "manliness" that Eijiro and Tetsu like saying. Some might become a little afraid of him, others are gonna be jealous (most from the perverted group) and only a few are gonna hate/dislike him. (Shoto and Katsuki are a given, but still debating on Neito, Togaru and a few others). 
            
            Things are gonna start changing for Izuku really quickly regarding certain things and he's gonna have to adapt quickly as well. 
            
            Anyways, how are things with you? Are you in India yet or about to go and how long you going for? Going alone, with friends or family? Hope all is well with ya buddy, that you enjoy your trip and you have a safe trip.

            I'm doing alright and I hope you're doing well too. 
            
            Yeah, I heard and I'm kinda looking forward to it. But like you said, knowing what's coming, it's making me not want to see it. I probably still will, just so I can get ideas I guess.

            The writing is coming along pretty well. I just had a bit of a roadblock because I was having a hard time choosing a path. I had multiple plans/ideas for the whole Eri/Izuku dorm thing that I was having a hard time picking a path. I was trying to see which path would allow for the most story building and character interactions that makes sense, so that cost me some time. 
            
            But I did pick one in the end and it's been easier to write now. Another thing that made me lose some time was because of my job. I had to work 6 days a week, from 10 to 8 everyday, so I was really tired and not able to focus much. Good news is that it was temporary and I'm back to 5 days a week, 11 to 7. 
            
            I've been on a good writing sessions so I'm about 50% done. The rest should be done within a week or so. And the next few chapters I have some of it outlined already so they ones coming up after this one shouldn't take too long.

@krispypencil Izuku's doing much better in confronting his long time bully while keeping his insecurities hidden. And like I said before, the actual showdown between Izuku and Katsuki is gonna be crazy and it'll mark the true turning point for both of them. I'm gonna do things differently than most others which I believe will still make sense cause of who they are at their core. And how I think things should've gone. 
            
            Yeah, Blackwhip was a teaser for the classmates and it's already making them make assumptions about Izuku. He's gonna have to explain it and he does have a good explaination ready to go for it and maybe he's other quirks. 
            
            Eijiro and Mina's is on the mend and that's good because they do make a good couple in all honesty. For this story, at least in the first half, their relationship is gonna be a little all over the place and it's gonna involve Izuku for sure. And I think I have a good plan for it and it'll make sense with how each of them are at the core. Now, whether it works out for Mina/Eijiro or for Mina/Izuku, I don't want to say more since it'll spoil things. 
            
            Well, Recovery Girl's comment was more that she hopes they all end up happy in the end, that it works out for each of them. Doesn't necessarily mean it'll be harem route but that at the end, they'll be content. Though, if it does go harem route, like I did for "Blue Spirit" (which I'm still editing and working on to make it better), the harem will be done tastefully. 
            
            Oh man, I have so many plans/ideas for the UA dorms and 1A/1B doing stuff together. It's gonna be fun. 
            
            Heh, she does, doesn't she? All Yui had to do was help feed Izuku. lol
            
            Good to hear buddy and I'm working on it right now. I have a few ideas of how i want things to go already so it won't take too long. I'm shooting for 2-3 week posting schedules, and I'll be posting on a Friday/Saturday.

            Glad you liked it. I wanted to get into the UA dorms but figured it would've been too long of a chapter and flow would've been off. You're right cause I decided to just focus on this stuff first before going into the dorm related things since it'll be a lot of stuff. Living together, Eri, how guys/girls react, etc. 
            
            Thank you for the praise. I do appreciate it. I do my best to do that cause there's a lot of content to explore. And I agree with you said about that. The canon stuff makes it seem like no one cares just cause "has potential" which is bullshit. A learning institute whose main focus is getting their students to become future pro heroes...NOT stopping/punishing villainous behavior from said students is stupid. Even so, you got that right with the irony haha
            
            I was thinking that first but wanted to show how Mitsuki reacted to learning everything first hand. How it's gonna make her take certain actions in the future regarding her friendship with Inko, dealing with Katsuki, etc. 
            
            Oh yes, Nezu is definitely gonna unravel that clusterfuck and it's gonna be fun. 
            
            Thanks man. I wanted to show how Izuku's training with his mentors, not just physical stuff, but social stuff thanks to Nemuri and therapy with Natasha, has helped him mature and get over some of his bad habits. He's still working on them but he's getting better. It's a more realistic take on his development since it's not "sudden". Oh and the actual showdown between Izuku and Katsuki is gonna be insane (at least in my head)
            
            Denki's a cool character. He's got a cool quirk but he's lazy/perverted/dimwitted. Wanted to show him wrestling within himself about his growing feelings for Kyoka and his jealousy of Izuku. There's definitely gonna be some issues between the two, with some passive stuff too. I have plans for their interactions and it'll be fun.

in the cannon he's basically the class slacker so from that standpoint his jealousy makes perfect sense, he feels inferior to someone smarter, stronger and nicer than him and he's determined to undermine izuku and his pettiness is rising, its simple yet extremely effective and most importantly it actually makes sense given their character profiles and personalities, so this dynamic will be interesting to watch unfold as Im sure Chadzuku won't stand for that shit and will shut denki down, I know denki and jiro are shipped alot but the way he is right now makes me hope he fails which makes me feel like you did a good job at setting up whatever dynamic there will be between them. Besides I think there's far more potential in Jiro and deku and they just make more sense.
             Confrontation with bakugo it was great seeing him shut it down immediately instead of trying too hard to give him a chance, now Im just waiting for the day deku goes to calling him bakugo and not that nickname I think that will completely free deku from bakugo but of course no need to rush that kind of thing, seeing him use blackwhip was a treat too and their reactions to it as well. 
            It was also nice to see kirishima and ashido start patching things up, I don't know anything about how they'd work as a couple so I'll refrain from commenting on that part of it.
            Recovery girl's comment on hoping it works out for 'all of them' makes me wonder whether this will go in a harem direction which I wouldn't mind so long as its handled tastefully.
            I am looking forward to the joined living situation with 1A and 1B. Im absolutely in love with how involved 1B is here and Im looking forward to see how kendo interacts with deku and could definitely see some chemistry there. Momo seems like she might be centre stage at the moment. But all Yui needed was one chapter to be best girl of the fic, Kodai is def my favourite and followed by kendo and momo so Im excited to see what happens with them along with the rest of 1B

            You're right; the characters don't really get too much actual development. It's just a handful of viewpoints and the rest are just there. Even with the 'relationships' shown, it's not much at all. No real connections. Those are some of the things I'm trying to change with this story. 
            
            Thank you man. Seriously. I really do appreciate the praise and the faith you have in my writing ability. Makes me want to try and make the story even better than what I wanted. And I know that there are other stories that are so well written, better than mine, that shows how talented their writers are. I'm aiming to reach their level and one day, God willing, I hope to do so. 
            
            Again, thank you. And I placed an update on Patreon but to tell you directly, I've changed up some things in my personal life so I'm gonna be able to write more. By the end of May 2024, some of the things that I'm working on will be done by that time and that will hopefully enable me to focus more on my writing goals/dreams.

I’m doing good man, hoping things are looking good still, lookin forward to the new chapter I’ve read the latest one around 4 or 5 times now. I’ve rewatched some early mha episodes which made me appreciate and fall in love with your fic all over again. With the exception of uraraka, Lida and todoroki no one in class A or B is friends with Izuku; the personal relationships aren’t being fleshed out at all. I feel like they could swap midoriya for just about any character and shit would still pan out the same. It’s why I love your fic so much, seeing these characters have their own thoughts about each other and big event in ways that relate to their character tropes and personalities is something the show and manga miss but your fic does such a good job. I’ve said it before but when they were making the anime they shoulda let YOU cook

            Haha, nice. Yui is a cool character and I wanted to give her more spotlight here and there. 
            
            I've been working on it whenever I can thanks to some things that popped up that I had to take care of. Thankfully, I was able to finish them up earlier today and now I can fully focus on writing. I'm about halfway done but with more free time I should be done within a week or so if all goes well.

            Shoto's getting pretty impatient huh? Wanted to show how his father leaning on him now is making him be more aggressive. Gonna cause problems and there's more coming. 
            
            Yui definitely got points didn't she? Wanted to do things a bit differently with her compared to other stories I saw. Silent but caring and thoughtful. Izuku will be lucky if things continue with her but he does have work to do. 
            
            I never understood that either. Iida's alright, but it seemed their friendship was hastily put and kinda one sided. For this story, I don't want him to be one of Izuku's "main" best friends.  Not yet and even as the story goes on, he'll stay just good friend. Got that right too. Izuku's reply changed things up and portrayed how he changed in just two years.
            
            That did worry me a bit. Ochaco's conversation with Momo. I knew some people might not like it, but it wasn't a "demand" but more of a "request". And she did say it kindly, gave her reasons why. Whether Izuku can or can't help isn't the thought process for Ochaco. More of she doesn't want him get hurt like that again but knows how he is thanks to what others told her, like Natasha and what she's seen herself. That he'll knowingly throw himself into danger if there's even a chance to help someone out. And she saw how angry Shoto looked and worrying. Plus, she thinks that since Momo probably cares for Izuku too, that she'll try to keep him out of it as well. And I wasn't planning on it being a callback but after I wrote it, I did realize that it could be seen that way. 
            
            Thanks man, I really appreciate that. It took many rewrites with deletes, cut outs and rearranging things to get it better. The scene with Ochaco and Momo was actually the last thing I put in the chapter because I felt something was missing and it finally hit me. 
            
            Nothing yet. But hopefully it'll be soon since I started on the outline already. Hope all is well and I hear from ya again soon.
