          I hope those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving had a beautiful, cozy day. I’m really sorry for going a bit quiet lately—I didn’t mean to disappear on you without an update, and I truly appreciate your patience.
          
          I wanted to be honest and share where I’m at: I don’t have Chapter 32 written yet, and I’ve found myself feeling a little stuck on the best direction to take it. I want this next chapter to align properly with what I already have planned further down the line (especially where the story is eventually heading), and I don’t want to rush something that doesn’t feel true to the story or to you as readers.
          
          Because of that, I’m going to step away from Where the Shadows Dance for the next few weeks—not a full hiatus, just a short pause so I can write several chapters in advance, re-center the narrative, and make sure everything moving forward feels intentional and cohesive.
          
          Chapter 32 will be uploaded on December 19th.
          
          My hope is that this small break will help prevent any more pushed deadlines, so I can return with steady updates and chapters that feel polished and meaningful rather than rushed. You deserve my very best, and I hate the idea of disappointing you.
          
          Thank you so much for your understanding, your kindness, and for sticking with this story even during slower moments. Your support truly means everything to me, and I’m so excited to come back very soon with the next part of Ophelia’s journey.

          I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to give you a quick update for Where the Shadows Dance—I’ve got a very busy week ahead, so there won’t be a chapter update this Friday, November 21st.
          
          But! To make up for it, I’ll be releasing two updates next week—a little Thanksgiving treat for you all! You’ll get one chapter on Thursday, November 27th and another on Friday, November 28th.

          Just a quick little update! This past week has been incredibly productive — I finally worked out how to move forward with Where the Shadows Dance, and I even have a few chapters pre-written and ready to go.
          
          I think you’re really going to love what’s coming next, especially Chapters 28 and 29. I’m still outlining the details, but things are falling into place in a way that feels right.
          
          With that said, updates will officially resume every Friday at 1:00 p.m. CDT, starting October 18th.
          
          Thank you so much for your patience and support. This is my first time writing a fantasy novel, and while I absolutely love this story, I know there are moments where it’s still finding its shape — a little hazy around the edges, just like the world it lives in.

          Just a quick update: Chapter 27 of Where the Shadows Dance will be released on October 18th. I need a little extra time to re-organize some things in the story and figure out the best way to move forward—I really want to avoid any unnecessary filler chapters and make sure every part feels intentional and exciting!
          
          When I first started writing, I thought the story would be around 35-40 chapters, but at this rate, I’m pretty sure Where the Shadows Dance is going to surpass 40 chapters (maybe by a lot!). I also want to have a clearer sense of the chapter count as I outline the rest.
          
          Thank you so much for your patience and understanding—it genuinely means a lot to me. 
          
          I’m hoping that by October 18th, I’ll have a few chapters pre-written and ready to go, so I won’t have to keep taking these little breaks (which I know can be frustrating). You all deserve better!
