Happy 2026! While I still have a love for obx, I have not been able to find the motivation to wrap up Growing in Love... is anyone still waiting on that? I honestly want to go through and do a total revamp of the work, but that is a heck of a commitment, and I would only take that on if the people wanted to see it. If not, then I will probably let it die as it is :( It is sad, but I am a busy, busy bee and simply don't have the time or motivation. Regardless, wishing you all a fantastic year and excited to see how obx ends for good!!

Hey lovelies!!! Just wanted to pop in and say that I have not completely abandoned Growing in Love, but I’m having some severe writer’s (and motivation lol) block, mainly stemming from a significant bout of low confidence. I don’t really feel like this book has gone in the direction I originally imagined it too, which I definitely do partially blame on trying to be super canon-compliant… the Pates and Shannon Burke really took S3 and 4 off the rails (and out of the OBX). I love Dani like my own child, but I’m having severe insecurity with my writing right now and just don’t love the product I’ve put out to you guys. I’m not gonna give up on her (as in, Growing in Love) but I just don’t know if my heart is in it as much. Thank you all for reading! Hopefully this is just me being embarrassed and self-conscious lol

Chapter 9 (I think? I cannot keep up tbh!) will be a while, unfortunately. I am mid-finals and simply do not have the time to write at the moment :( I want it to be good, and I can’t give it the attention it deserves until I’m through with the real life stuff…. boo! tomato-tomato!
