Greetings Creatures!!!! I will be attending the BFDI II Meet-up in NYC on Sunday at 11:00am. I'm hoping to wear a stupid but easily identifible YH3 shirt I ordered, but it hasn't come in the mail yet so I'll find another identification method if that doesn't work.

If you recognize me come on over and say hi! It really makes my WHOLE YEAR when somebody tells me they've read my fic!! We could even draw together if you want!! I'll also be going with @frodotakie and Theuniversebook! so if you recognize them too, say hi!!

How have you been doing?

silverwingsdragon

@silverwingsdragon @Cashlost2
Or maybe you don't have enough faith in your story ideas once you start to work on them so you're more optimistic about new ideas because they appear to have less problems.

Stories will always get more complicated and have problems once you get into them, so if you get worried an idea isn't worth it because you run into plot problems, just know it's expected and it doesn't mean the idea won't work. Plot problems are frustrating and take a lot of mental work to solve. Sometimes I'm working out a plot problem for close to a month or even years if I don't actively think on it every day.
Maybe you have to change some parts or even a lot of it, create different versions or have to step back and do research, but you have to give a story a chance to survive hardship, otherwise you won't finish.

How to decide what work is worth finishing over others is up to you, but I'm mostly motivated by attention seeking and my ability to create it when it comes down to choosing one over the other. I write for me, but having an audience to speak to with my writing is so motivating. If I'm going to put hours and hours into something I'd like for it to be something people other than me will enjoy and talk about. An audience also helps to pressure you to finish your work because you know they're waiting, even if it's just one fan, it's enough to motivate me to write something finished for them.

@Cashlost2 I think as long as you have somebody who you're comfortable sharing your drafts or ideas with you don’t necessarily need a community of writers, although it could help when you have problems like plot holes because those can be very daunting as a new writer.

I've been there when it comes to plotlines becoming disinterested in themselves and getting caught up in new ideas. Sometimes it's because you were accidentally writing two or more different stories as if they were one story (which is bad because it starts to lose focus on either of its topics. If that's true you will have to look at your whole story and figure out what is the most important or even just your favorite part of it and cutting everything that distracts from that moment or message. You'll even have to cut out other cool stuff, but if that cool stuff doesn't help your whole story it's hurting it, so you'll have to cut it out.)

this is definitely a lot of advice to take in. Which I do feel is a good thing cause it'll get me to think things through. I just wish I had more friends in this area. All my friends are ytpers and ytp tennis players and they don't really do much writing. I'm also conflicted with the fact that a lot of my story ideas tend to spiderweb into several directions. I started off with one idea, then I got other story ideas and used your bfdi au as a starting point and now I created almost a whole timeline of stuff and now I'm worried about it being too much.

how much did you listen to kiss me (kill me) while writing the poison in boinks

WeevilWoodpecker

@WeevilWoodpecker (also i did not check le date)

@WeevilWoodpecker "Kiss me Kill Me" wasn’t out yet when I wrote The Poison in Boinks. Wattpad never saves the original date for things (which is why I date Rabbid Guy myself) but The Poison in Boinks was written in 2020.

RABBID GUY IS GOING ON HIATUS FOR THE SUMMER!

I will be taking a break working on Rabbid Guy to work on my object show Greenlune. Rabbid Guy will return to production in the fall, although when the next chapter will come out will be a variable.

@EdibleGelatin Yup! It's very ambitious so I don't expect to even be finished by the summer's end, but it's an adventure show that focuses on two characters traveling across Greenlune to solve riddles and find temples.

Yo. I had a super strange dream about Rabbid Guy last night. What happened was that Guy noticed Jeremy was missing, and he got Tie to help him find Jeremy. They ended up going to stairs, which led to some upper level at the place Guy works at and found Jeremy sitting in the stairwell looking like something attacked him, and it also turned out that Jeremy was some kind of robot.

Cashlost2

@Cashlost2 wow. That is a really cool analysis. I know one thing for sure is that I'm definitely excited to see the rest of the story. It's probably my favorite series of yours. I love rabbids and always find them cute. I'd definitely be one of those Rabbid loving hippies if I was in that universe. I'd be some eccentric electronic music artist who uses photos and drawings of them for all my albums. I myself need to get back into writing again. College, ytps, and music making all drug me away from it, but now I've got a whole new angle for writing and currently am about to work on rewriting some of my stories to make them better.
Uhhh. I don't know how to end this now lol. Song recommendation:

@Cashlost2 That’s absolutely insane, I don’t think I've ever had a reader have a dream about one of my works.

This type of dream is pretty funny too since it has an 'upper place' in a staircase, which is a huge symbol in the story.

If I were to analyze the dream, it would mean: "Better man was abused and enslaved before being attacked while escaping into the beyond"

Jeremy being a more confident and healthy person than Guy so he's just a little better of a man, and the abuse/imprisonment is represented by his becoming or always being a robot, with cyborgs in Rabbid Guy representing imprisonment and slavery, and him being upstairs represents him being in a place beyond the Earthly in the future (downstairs would be beyond the Earthly in the past).

What attacked him based on the symbols, is probably a representation of Guy's boss, Jeremy having to try and escape in a supernatural way in order to get away, maybe not being able to escape in a physical way, but in a mental or spiritual way, but he still fails.

Guy technically escapes his job in a supernatural way when he becomes a rabbid.

If any of you don't follow me on Twitter and are wondering what's taking so long, this chapter is the same size as 40% of the entire book published so far.

I'm not at the editing stage yet so It might turn out to be more like the 50%, meaning it would be the same length of half the book. Crazy.

Sunset_Puzzle

@silverwingsdragon jeezly crow that's a lot... 10,000 words per chapter is still insane. that's like half an hour of reading. not saying that's bad!! i'll just read it by chunks
