ugh. people have said that for years! you're so /old/. 

( hunter hunted the movie down. enjoying films was a rare treat, one he only got to indulge in when with gin. considering this one was his favorite, he couldn't bite back the smile that formed as it began. ) i can't wait. this movie is brilliant. you know, someday, i'd like to meet him.

            "The...  that's the cat with the word,  right?"   Gintoki paused for a moment then reached for the remote which seemed to have fallen to the floor.  It was probably all  / Kagura's / fault...  or that big dumb dog...  He gave it to Hunter.   "Good luck finding it." 

( finally, he'd settle to not be glued to gintoki's side. he grabs his water, sips on it, then leans over, looking for the television remote. ) i want to watch puss in boots. 

[ it's snatched by two little hands, his eyes heavy as he looked to gin and spoke before drinking some water, ] can we go sit on the couch? and we can.. we can watch tv.

            [   the samurai scooped some more rice and egg into his mouth,  eating almost all of it before he stopped.  he left the bowl there to stand,  wiping bits from his face as he got a glass of water.  he brought it back for hunter.   ]   here.

[ for a kid who usually puts up quite a fight against eating, he seemed pretty content, swallowing his bite down after a bit and sipping the remaining milk in his cup. his voice is scratchy with sleepiness, a quiet murmur as he gently shoves his cup toward the other. ] may i have water now?

[ he squints. though, he must admit that gin isn't wrong. the world did suck. so he climbs up onto the bed and gets beneath some covers grumpily. ] this is stupid.
