It is called this because it is his fav color. (SPOILER)..... She was not raised as country girl... I'm not finished with the chapter... I still have to put in the back story of when and how old she was when she had move here.

I lay there thinking... Thinking about life.. Thinking about the world... Just thinking. The sky is like marmalade. The grass like a stringy cushion. The clouds like cotton balls. I just lay there thinking about everything.
ALONE. Im alone. I'm all alone. No one in site, no one to comfort me, no one to love, no one at all. In those few moments of thinking that I was alone I felt something. I felt something so warm and fuzzy and nice. It kinda felt like it was telling me that someday i would have someone, but sadly just not today. I-I just didn't want to let go of it, but sadly the feeling left. I let that nice feeling slip through my fingers. Now feeling once again alone, sad and angry with no nice and pleasant thoughts swimming around in my head I sit up looking at the time displayed on my phone which had said it was now 6:46 p.m. I dust off the dirt that had made it's way onto my shirt and get up. While wiping off the dirt of my back I see that we have new neighbors, which is strange because my family lives out in the middle of nowhere at a farm and the house that was about a good 2 miles away hasn't had people living in it in about 30-40 years, but who am I to say where people can and cannot live? I just mind my own business and walk on to my house. While walking I put my hand out and feel the tops of the tall weeds under neath my fingertips. As I make my way to the front porch I turn back around to see the spot that I had just laid in for hours, thinking. Looking out into the distance at the field I take in a deep refreshing breath. Turning back around I open the screen door and walk inside. As soon as I walked into the kitchen the aroma of fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, and cabbage.
