How about a brief life/writing update?
Firstly, I want to thank every single person who has read this book. I began writing Tied Together back in 2020 when I was laid off from my first professional flying job. I was devastated, rudderless, and at times, I felt utterly and completely lost. This book reignited my passion for imagination and adventure. Kyber helped me through. YOU helped me through. Thank you for that.
Secondly, I know that I’ve been visibly absent from this site and all social media for several years. Please know that despite that, I have read EVERY single comment that has ever been left on this book, in any platform, in its entirety. Every kind word and every voice of encouragement has spoken life into me.
I left the internet because, well, the internet sucks. That, and as I was working toward my professional goals, the time and freedom I had to write something of this magnitude and maintain the online presence it required, no longer existed.
I left writing, but writing never left me. Writing had given me an outlet that I didn’t know I needed and its absence had left a hole that not even a successful career could fill.
Kyber’s story, Tied Together, is complete. I will never add to it (unless to have it professionally edited and printed for personal use).
But…In January of 2025 I began to work on a new project.
It's not fan fiction. It's not Star Wars related. And it's not anywhere close to being finished. I just wanted to give you all, my Ride-or-Dies, my A1’s since Day 1’s, something to keep in the back of your minds this year.
When completed, this new novel will be self-published and it will be 100% an original work.
Think classic Roman Mythology. Think sapphic. Think slow burn. Think unyielding and relentless yearning.
Think Fall of 2026.
And as always, think about how you changed my life for the better. Updates to come when I get them.
