                                                           (  with a raised eyebrow,   shinobu slowly turned away from him.   being a couple had its perks,  but before any of that,   their duties lay in being hashira.  )     i'm extremely upset.   when i returned,   aoi was still working.   what happened to you promising to look after her if i was gone?   if i inevitably die during a fight,   i need to know my sisters are in great care.   
            
            
            (  why did she have a habit of changing the subject?   did she not like him being hurt?  )     it shouldn't get infected,   but your bandages do look like they need changing.

were you? i trust it went well, then, considering you’ve still found the time to be upset that i have an injury. ( he laughed softly. ) it was nothing, just a few scratches. but it was insisted upon that i get treated lest something get infected, leaving me here. i’m sure it would’ve been fine..
