Hey Everyone! Does anyone know a good way of gaining fans? Or more views? I've been writing on here for a couple of months and I feel like everything's sort of.... dead. Like no matter how many hashtags or how much I promote my stories, I feel like no one's reading them. Like I'm preaching to a choir. Is my writing really that bad?

Hello all! I really want to promote the fan fiction because writing it is just so much fun and I would love for more people to enjoy it (especially if they comment, I love hearing from people who read my shit) . But I don't know how? I tried to go to the wattpad promote your story groups but for some reason when I put my link in the website won't let me post.  Does anyone know what to do cause one thing I hate the most is writing to an empty room
