i finished city of heavenly fire last night after procrastinating for legit a year. i read 600+ pages in one day and the book is 700+ pages long and i went to sleep at 2am bc i was finishing it bUT IT WAS WORTH IT! now everyone please go read (the infernal devices and then go read) the mortal instruments by cassandra clare (sorry tid is a prequel to tmi)

i get that abusive characteristics and such are romanticized in fanfictions but it is a serious problem. being controlling, getting overly jealous, yelling at or belittling a person when the do something wrong, dependency issues--these are all things that are common in abusive partners. please listen guys. these things aren't cute. possessiveness is not cute. it has a high possibility of going bad.
