@CROOKEDHALO Adam just mustered up a mere scowl, clearly not a fan of redemption whatsoever. Surely it wouldn't even work. The first man himself was quite a pessimistic guy, just sees things in black and white. What makes Abel think he could ever find his way back into heaven? "I've been hearing you out, Abel. Is that not something you seem to understand?" He watched as his son flew a little closer to which he instinctively stepped back, his wings fluttering. His hands beginning to clench into fists at his sides. "Maybe just for one goddamn second you can come to the realization that I don't want help." He might've kept a neutral facial expression but deep down he had been so genuinely upset over all of this. "I doubt the princess of hell would help me after everything I've done. After all of the exterminations I've had set in stone to kill all of their people."

@sinnersfavorite-- ; sorry for the late response !! ( abel was so tired as he looked down at his dad . his hands fidgeted with each other while he yelled and cursed , and abel couldn ' t help but want to fix things . he could see himself as more of a pacifist , wanting to make things better , even if he would only get hurt in the end . ) " would you / please / hear me out ? " he tried , a bit softer . ( he was so much like his mother . soft , gentle , naive . abel hovered lower , getting closer to adam as he toyed with the cuffs of his uniform . ) " maybe they can help you be , i don ' t know . more open ? if heaven sees the progress you made , they ' ll let you back — probably — " ( he said the last bit a little quieter . )" plus , charlie is so nice , i ' m sure that they ' ll have you back with open arms . "

@CROOKEDHALO "Don't say what? That I don't deserve to be mourned? It's the truth." He shot back hotly, his face now bright red in frustration. "Well no shit I am! That's how it works!" Adam grunted as he now just glared down at the ground kicking a few loose pebbles away from himself. This just sucked so goddamn hard and he didn't have a way to properly cope with how it felt to see his son again after so long. Honestly if someone told him he would meet his son again after he had been sent to hell, he would've just laughed in their faces. At the mention of the hotel he now glared back up at Abel, lip curled into a snarl. "And go stay at such a crappy ass hotel?! After fighting those same people for so long?! Oh please! That's the last thing I want to do is show up on their doorstep!"
