Next chapter is in the works, but that's not what I’m making this post for. I love all of you, all my readers, my followers, everyone who contributes to what I make in any way. All I’ve ever wanted was to be an icon, almost, something someone could look up to, but I’m just simply not that person. I’m just me. So, when you guys say that you were inspired by me, little old me, it makes me immensely happy to the point of almost crying. I'm so glad that what I make can be so inspiring and motivating for others, as books had been for me. So, I guess, all in all, thank you. Every last one of you. Thank you.

Chapter 12 is out. Yeah, it’s short, yeah, it’s kind of pointless, but shut up. It goes in the plan. I'm so tired. I'm releasing this and sleeping. Goodnight to all. Hope you enjoy what little there is to enjoy.

@sir_potato161 Don't worry. If it's in the plan it's not pointless, it just has a purpose you haven't quite recognized, yet.

Chapter 11 is finally out! To think that I plan 19 more of these. If I keep this procrastination up, the first book (I plan three) is going to be done when the Neurolink is being widely accepted and used. Anyway, yeah. It's out. Cool. The reason for the wait is a shit ton of bad personal stuff going on, as well as procrastination. Cool. Read it, please.

Alright. I am slowly but surely working on the latest chapter. Sorry for the tremendous wait. I have a plan set out for almost the entire fic now, which is good. Anyway, would you guys be interested something where you vote for what happens in the next chapter, or something similar? I'm not doing this anytime very soon, just wondering.

I am nothing if not consistently inconsistent.

@relatingewe Feel free to ask about any questions or tips, also! I want to help anyone willing to get better at writing.

@relatingewe Contextualize the back stories of your characters, look for flaws. Once you have your flaws listed brainstorm plotlines you can extend from those flaws, correcting them over the course of the story. Then you have a solid basis for your characters' conflict and story, and get creative with it. Loans, immoral deals, deaths, bullying, family issues, governmental oppression, corruption, incompetence, etc. There's a lot of options to propel a plot into action, and the interest is drawn by conflict, the climax feels greatest when we witness them overcome the problem.

Also, don't be afraid to cut some characters. Say, instead of having both the old/toy groups just cut one or the other to streamline the cast and make the group simpler to comprehend, and/or mix and match with other groups like UCN cast or such. Try to reuse characters often, also. Never just throw a character away randomly after - say - a fight, bring them back with a vengeance and determination to drag down the person who got them.

@sir_potato161 Considering I'm replying to this from next year, lol, inconsistency is forgivable for a hobby. I would suggest sticking to a concrete story rather than a CYOA system. You can easily end up in a scenario where characters do things which don't make logical sense to their beliefs, motivations, etc.

Take some time to take a look at everyone; ascertain their reasons behind doing stuff. Foxy's a product of being orphaned? Maybe he has attachment/connection issues and is overly focused on becoming a successful person - or ironically - he's already given up before life has started. I've been writing a story recently with a character similar to that, however, he had his family killed after he tried to turn his life around. It causes him to suffer from extreme issues with intimacy/friendships and his story focuses heavily on his growth to overcome his traumas and recreate his life. In that, he's at odds with multiple others who rival and align with him, prompting immense confusion within the story which helps to show just how focused he had to become to live.

After his "mate" of sorts died, he tried to sleep with someone who was related to someone else he hated and was sick to his gut because of it, prompting the fear of intimacy. So he wouldn't go and sleep around - adversely - he's probably extremely critical of it.

Just so everyone is aware, I have started working on my recent book once again. Sorry for the wait. A lot of personal things have been happening recently. The start of the school year doesn't help much either. Regardless, I have started working on the chapters again. Thank you!
