Hi, I'm Siya.

Well, not really. Siya Raghuram is my pen name, and for now, I'm choosing to stay behind it.

I'm a doctor, an introvert, and a girl still figuring herself out. I've struggled with confidence and with feeling comfortable in my own skin - with how I look, how I carry myself, and how easily I compare myself to others. For now, hiding behind a pen name feels a little safer. Maybe one day I won't need to.

I've always loved stories. I've found comfort in reading about people who were figuring things out, finding themselves, overcoming insecurities, or simply trying again. Sometimes, someone else's words can make you feel a little less alone.

That's what I hope to create here - a small, honest corner where I can write about love, life, finding home, growing up, confidence, insecurity, and all the little things that make us feel more like ourselves.

I'll also share things I discover and love, thoughts I wish someone had shared with me, and glimpses of life as I continue working towards becoming the doctor I want to be.

I don't know where this will take me. Maybe I'll simply become a little more comfortable putting myself out there. And maybe, along the way, something I write will help someone else feel a little less alone.
