It's inexplicable!
That's my slogan as a mystery writer.
Hillerman, Grafton, Cornwall, James, Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys all are incredibly gifted writers and characters but then there's Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. His infamous detective, Sherlock Holmes, has been the yardstick by which we have all measured detectives ever since he was first created. My first mystery novel features the amateur sleuth, Lucy James. She's a quirky, likable character with a penchant for solving puzzles with her precious toy poodle. See what you think!
