it's about a killer who is on his last hit but has to get rid of his affections for her partner. he thinks its dangerous and improper to get involved with her so he sets out to find to surrogate his affection, in hong kong. he crosses path with a strange drifter looking for his mysterious ex and a mute trying to get the world's attention.
its a bit confusing at first but once you see the ending it will all work out.
