hello me again to tell you to boycott another show. so the first part of stranger things season 5 drops tomorrow but if you’re planning on watching the show please don’t watch it on netflix. (don’t go on instagram and write strangerthingsscenepack there won’t be mega links).
          	
          	the duffer brothers and at least 3 cast members (that i know of) are zionists (and they didn’t recast will after n*ah’s posts in support of isr*el and their genocide of palestinians) so watching the show would be supporting them financially and showing there’s so consequences to their actions.
          	
          	i remember a year ago everyone was saying boycott stranger things, but i’ve seen nothing now so i just wanted to give a reminder. 
          	
          	at the end of the day, you do what you want, but if this changes one person’s mind then great!!

SOOO… alien + alien romulus watch complete… goddamn! alien was slower than i thought it would be and took me a sec to get immersed into it, but once i did i was stressin!!!! loved it! and then alien romulus… WOAAH. loved it too. going into it i knew that kay was [redacted] and her [redacted] was [redacted] (…?) but that still couldn’t have prepared me for those last 20 mins of that movie what the FUUUCK?! overall really enjoyed them both!!

yay i’m happy you enjoyed them!! they’re both on my favorite movies list! i felt the same way watching alien but the last half hour sold the entire movie for me, it’s so stressful! i tried to stay away from spoilers so i didn’t know much about romulus, apart that there was a new creature, but that thing is my sleep paralysis demon (at one point it smiles and it makes my skin crawl).

hypothetically which of the alien movies should i watch before watching alien romulus??

@wishfuIthinking — yay! but warning that i didn’t really like alien 3 and alien resurrection (& as did most people). so they’re not essential watches. and the ripley part of the franchise is over (i think they might ignore those movies lore wise if they reference ripley in the future since there was plans for an alien 5 movie that would start from the end of aliens).

@wishfuIthinking — OMG!!! that’s so funny you ask that i am planning a alien rewatch for spooky season!
            
            romulus not really connected to other movies so it can be seen as a standalone. but timeline wise it happens after alien and the prequels (prometheus and alien covenant). you can only watch romulus but i’d recommend watching alien since it establishes things a bit more (and they kinda spoil the movie in romulus) (alien is as good as romulus in my opinion) and maybe prometheus (after alien tho) if you want (it’s not necessary but it gives some more information about the universe and there’s a connection/easter egg).
            
            i think all the movies are on disney+ but in case the first 4 movies (alien, aliens, alien 3, & alien resurrection) are on the internet archive. 
            
            when i watched the series for the first time it was in release order and it didn’t fail me.
            
            let me know what you thought of romulus when you watch it!!
