          i have to admit, i'm not exactly happy with chapter 17 of The Master of Fate. it feels pretty rushed (tbh it was) and just... weird i guess?
          
          so, i'm rewriting it.
          
          don't worry if you like the original version of chapter 17. i'll post what i have up now on my tumblr and have a link to it in the new version of the chapter when it's published, so you can still access it if you want.
          
          i think you'll like what i have written for it so far. thanks for sticking by so far.

          if you just got a notification that Do you trust me? was updated, i am so sorry. chapter 2 isn't out yet. i was just looking over chapter 1 and realized that i don't know the difference between thunder and lightning. my stupidity knows no bounds.

hey, skele here. just warning you, The Master of Fate is going to have quite a few updates coming. no new chapters yet. it's mainly going to be edits to chapters since apparently past me was a moron and deleted some important things from different points in the story.

          i decided to make an account on Quotev. i won't really be doing anything special with it. just publishing the same fanfiction on there that i have on here just in case anything happens. yay anxiety.

          hey. it's been a while. but what matters is i'm back and feeling better.
          
          so, about The Master of Fate...i might have to scrap chapter 17 for now. i'm not abandoning the idea entirely, but i just don't exactly have the skills required for a split-perspective thing right now. i may return to it at a later date, though.
          
          i will try to get chapter 16 pushed out as fast as possible, though. i have a few things i'd like to do with the plot, which i think you'll love. i'm also going to try to edit some of the previous chapters just to make sure they're as good as they can be.
          
          so. i got a lot to do. hoping it'll all be worth the wait for you.

          i'm going to have to take a break from writing. my mental state is deteriorating faster than i thought it was right now. i don't want to publish anything that might be subpar. you deserve better than that, especially with how much you've been waiting.
          
          i've had more mental breakdowns in the past few weeks than i've had in the past few years. i've been having thoughts that i haven't had since middle school. i don't want these things to seep into my works. you deserve better than that.
          
          i'm really sorry if this worries any of you. i'll try to continue writing as soon as i'm in a better state of mind. until then, stay safe.

          chapter 16 and 17 of The Master of Fate might take an extra while to come out. apparently my nephew thought it'd be a funny "prank" to delete everything i had written for chapter 16.
          
          lesson learned. always keep backups of everything you write. thanks, jason. i hope you fail all your exams so the entire family is as disappointed in you as i am :)
