Apologies for the delay in posting. I have been flat-out writing the final chapters (plus a bunch of real life issues).

Please enjoy Chapter 32, which serves as a major turning point as we race (literally) downhill towards the visceral conclusion.

"Where is everyone?" Lera asked.

There was no sign of life. Nobody in the fields. No smoke from the bakery's chimney. All the doors in the houses they could see were closed, and the windows shuttered.

"What's that on the door?" Orwic asked.

"The red star," Lera said. "Plague marking."

-- Chapter 20 - Coils of the Serpent

Coils of the Serpent is now live. It's a fantasy action-adventure with just a touch of comedy. I'll be releasing one chapter per day over the next month or so.

The job was simple: find out why the barges had stopped coming down the river. But why had the baron prevented his own people from investigating? And why did their captain insist they journey covertly? There was more going on than they had been told. That ignorance may cost them their lives.

For two of you that remain, I have something brewing that might interest you. It's an ensemble high-fantasy piece of novelistic length. It should drop late next week, with chapters released every/most days.

          Cheers!

I've had to delay the latest installments of The Mischief of Rats in order to fulfill a promise I made back in early January. That promise was to deliver my rom-com, One Perfect Moment, by Australia Day (26th January). Normal service will return next week.

          Cheers!
