I don't want to seem like am projecting but just a little idea or whatever, I mean they all love each other it hurts to watch it go to waste so lemme just through in a little pin to the board. Wud love to see Joss lose his mind worse than he cud hold himself, lose his determination maybe weight and body discipline, drown in self hatred for failure to keep his promise to Gawin, that's he's lifeline. Not to hurt Gawin but I sometimes takes Joss's accomplishments to those he loves so letting down the 1 he loves might cause him to have a fall back . Am all for angst but with comfort.
