@skycloudrain101 honestly this is completely understandable. And actually really relatable for a lot of writers. You probably already know this since you must have a lot more experience than me haha but one thing I’ll say tho is always follow ur gut. There’s no harm in expanding ur work into other platforms, or focusing on a different part of your work.
Because like you said , the engagement on Wattpad is up and down— and it’s true abt being filled with bots tbh. Sometimes the app truly feels like it’s dead.
I think it’s good as well, finding what sort of platform fits u best . And sometimes there’s a time and place for your stories. For example even I stopped writing for ages and I was so used to having regular readers and once I came back it was dead. But in the end I know , people will always return to the books they like . Especially with particular fanbases . For Nintendo as soon as they release another game there will be more people who start getting back into their Zelda phase again etc. so that’s why it’s good to take things at your own pace. We’ve all been there trust me, sometimes we get so used to people wanting more chapters that we upload so regularly that the views don’t always stay consistent. This way, you working at your own pace, will make people truly appreciate your work! Always take your time. You have your own life as well! I wish your channel the best of luck now that you will focus more on it
