Hey everyone! I need your thoughts—I’m at a bit of a crossroads with the fic right now and could really use your input.
I've reached a point in the story where I have two options. I can either stick to my original vision, which would add around 3–4 more chapters and keep the current pacing. Or, I could use an alternate version I've already written that moves the story along more quickly, reaching the climax of this arc sooner.
The ending stays the same either way, but the quicker route would mean losing some traditional Zelda elements—like dungeon exploration and side battles—that make the story feel closer to the games we all love.
What do you think? Do you prefer the pacing and detailed journey we're on now, or would you rather I pick up the pace a bit, even if it means sacrificing some classic Zelda content?

I would definitely appreciate more chapters and keeping the current pace , because it’s the depth and how fleshed out of your stories are that really seperate it from another Botw fanfic .

Honestly, the more the merrier! I doubt anyone would mind more chapters because the story is wonderful. I prefer a fleshed out ending than a short and rushed one. Love the work❤️

Note to self- If you ever have a cool idea or spark of writing inspiration in the form of perfect narration or dialogue, do write it down. Even if you’re lying in bed about to go to sleep. You will forget by the time you wake up in the morning.
so mad at myself for not writing it down. Now all I’m left with is a hazy remembrance of what I thought of.
That being said, the chapter will be out soon. I’m trying to compress what I originally had planned. It’s taking time to speed things up in the narrative without it feeling forced. I had to abandon some previously thought of plot points in favor of new ones to hurry the pace along. Bear with me a little longer, I promise it will be worth the wait. Thanks

@skycloudrain101 that happens all the time to me too. but yeah, take your time when releasing the next chapter. I know you only release work that is top quality and non of your chapters have ever disappointed I look forward to it :)

@Tigermist1 thanks for the encouragement and I hope it does live up. Also, after this arc wraps up we will be returning to current story(finally). We shouldn’t have to do anymore memory chapters and the narrative will flow in a set linear order. : )

lol Oh yes, a classic Link moment. Very cool that somebody has reenacted it out in the game. That being said, I’m glad you enjoy my story, it means a lot that I can entertain people. I’m working on the chapter a bunch and it should be out soon. I drop usually once a month if it’s a big one.
