your feelings about it are completely valid. you’re hurt. it’s okay to feel what you’re feeling and don’t think it would come across as homophobic. you just genuinely liked him, and he’s with someone else. you should take whatever time you need to heal yano? if he’s a true friend i feel like he would understand—but if you don’t want to explain that to him thats totally understandable as well. just slightly distance yourself to where you can comfortable heal with time if that makes sense. i’m sorry :((
