Hello.
It's been a while since I've been on Wattpad. I can't believe I started this account almost three years ago! Time really does fly. I hope you all are staying safe and healthy during this pandemic.
Here's what's new:
- S A N I T Y ended up taking four drafts and more than six months to edit. It's much better than it was before, but still needs a lot of work. I've been working on the sequel, P R A V I T Y, on and off. Neither, unfortunately, will be posted here.
- I suffered from almost eight months of writers block after finishing S A N I T Y. I don't know how I lived. It's a blur.
- I've completely dropped the romance genre and traded it for horror. Quite the switch, but I think I've found my niche. Additionally, I think writing horror tweaked my sense of humor. Weird. Things seem both more and less funny when you always write about fear.
- I'm working on a string of short stories in addition to P R A V I T Y and another novel. I'm also working on a literary magazine, which I may or may not publish.
- I finally learned how to spell "poison." Still can't figure out "nasea," though. "Nausa?" "Naesua?" Jeez. I've looked it up millions of times but still can't remember.
- I love writing about asphalt. And no, I can't figure it out either.
- My favorite word is "rivulets" but I had been mispronouncing it as "revolts" for years. Don't ask me how. I hate how it actually sounds.
- I decided to drop the pen name. Not here, though, because I'm slightly embarrassed by my writing. But, writing is all about practice and progress so I'm leaving it up.
I'm not sure if I'll post stuff on here again. I make no promises. Maybe when I have more time. We'll see.
