          y'all i'm not even kidding, i've written more for this story in the last 36hrs, than i have for any of my other books in two years.
          
          i think working has given me less time to procrastinate/overthink my writing and it's making my writing better, like how it used to be, cause i've stopped forcing myself to write when i had zero motivation to do so.
          
          all this aside, i do hope to actually write/finish a few of my "old" books aka haunted and evermore. and hopefully publish my marvel dual-book universe; afterglow (stark daughter!oc x oc), cornelia street (steve rogers) sometime this year, but that's only if i get further into the aforementioned stories.

am i the only one with like crippling possessiveness of a person/character? it's so bad that my friends have scrapped their own books of the character without me even asking lol i'm not complaining...just hoping i'm not alone in that hahaha

capcut is officially going down with the damn ship. this is all so unnecessary, especially given all of the other major atrocities occurring within our own country. it isn't just about a couple of apps. it's so much bigger and it makes me physically ill. this is how our year starts? i'm terrified to see the rest of it.

the tiktok ban is aging me ten damn years istg. so, the supreme court didn't overturn the law, but biden said he's not enforcing it which leaves it up in the air. we have no idea if the app will blackout on sunday, as previously stated by tiktok's ceo, given that the law isn't being enforced. like make up your damn minds people. we are less than month into this year and it's already a huge shitshow, and over the DUMBEST thing. hello! we have bigger issues than a video sharing app people?! and if our national security can be at "so much risk" from a stupid little video app, we are insanely doomed.
          
          but the creator (maybe the ceo, they might be the same person, i'm not fully sure) is on the seating chart for the inauguration ceremony on monday, which makes me a little hopeful since our elected president doesn't want the app banned any more than we do, and it means that they're might be some sort of compromise. it's also possible for tr*mp to push the ban once he's in office, giving us another 60-90 days or so for them to sell it to an american company (which they don't want to do at all) or to come to a better solution.
          
          this is all giving me a damn migraine. but i know there's still a lot of confusion and fear mongering from creators and news outlets, so here's a clearer breakdown on the *possible* outcomes.

apparently the tiktok ban (if it even happens) might take capcut with it...i fear that i won't be able to keep editing if that happens. i tried videostar once and it confused the hell out of me, so...that's a fun little development.

ik i took down every chapter of Safe and Sound a long time ago, and i'm finally going back and re-reading them...i hate all of it. i think i just box myself in by following the episodes of shows, whereas my movie-based fics are a little better because i never worry/question if my own plots will fit properly into the original plots lol soooo whenever i decide to rework S+S, it will look unrecognizable to those who read it when it was first published.
          
          also i recasted Ryder forever ago hahaha the new cover (new-ish cause i changed it months ago) for it has his new fc, i just didn't say anything or ever edit it.
