re-reading we were liars before watching the show for double the emotional damage was not my smartest idea tbh—

this sabrina album cover crap is pmo. one, there are way more serious things happening right now for people to actually be upset about. why not put this anger and energy towards LA and ICE and our administration that is ACTUALLY causing/forcing equality to regress!!
          
          two, its a picture and a JOKE. it was very clearly meant to cause discourse and get people talking about it. "b!tch" = female dog, a dog is always referred to as "man's best friend", therefore she was likely called a b!tch by a man and is using it as the vibe of the album. and somehow that very simple metaphor/joke/reference/wtv you wanna call it is going right over people's heads.
          
          three, everyone is taking it to crazy extremes. why are people claiming it "depicts dv"?? that is insane and incorrect. if anything, it depicts a kink. HER kink, she likes her hair pulled, who cares (many other people do too). she isn't in distress in the photo, so dv is a wild accusation.
          
          a woman enjoying being a sub is not anti-feminist. and since when did we make sabrina a pillar of feminism?? she's a grown woman, enjoying what she wants to enjoy, and if that happens to be being a sub in the bedroom, it's her prerogative. purity culture masking as "feminism" is genuinely concerning. especially given that men s3xualize that too!! no matter how women carry themselves, they'll find ways to exploit it. so, why don't you focus less on trying to force a woman to fit into your definition of feminism, how about we focus on making men change.

          y'all i'm not even kidding, i've written more for this story in the last 36hrs, than i have for any of my other books in two years.
          
          i think working has given me less time to procrastinate/overthink my writing and it's making my writing better, like how it used to be, cause i've stopped forcing myself to write when i had zero motivation to do so.
          
          all this aside, i do hope to actually write/finish a few of my "old" books aka haunted and evermore. and hopefully publish my marvel dual-book universe; afterglow (stark daughter!oc x oc), cornelia street (steve rogers) sometime this year, but that's only if i get further into the aforementioned stories.
