@December_Jones Hello! I don't have capacity to commit to any rfrs right now, but I'd be down for a follow. :) Your SPIRE : CRACKED cover is very nice. :D

@slashindex You're so kind, thank you! I was so honored to be included in that newsletter, and it's so exciting that you managed to find my story through that!

It's a relief that the worldbuilding and character development managed to get across over such few words. It was based on a dream I had, where I was in the perspective of the granddaughter, so this story is very close to me, and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! I had originally hoped for it to be a novel or novella, but I think the short story format is just the right length for it.

The fact that you read it means so much to me already, and your vote and kind words here are more than enough! Though I'll let you know if I think of anything, and thank you so much for the offer!

Hope you enjoy When Water Burns! I had a lot of fun writing that one!

@laurendoubleu Hi, I found this story through The Ones Behind The Bookshelves newsletter. Simply incredible. I particularly enjoyed the bits of worldbuilding (e.g. delivering dreams for a god, the kid waking up suddenly because she pulled the memory card and cable) and the characters felt very fleshed out--by the end of the story they each had their own resolution: the grandma gets closure with a proper goodbye, and the dream operator gets a sense of purpose/fulfillment from her job.

Let me know how to boost your story. I'm not very familiar with the Wattpad interface. I would've put the above as a review, but I only saw inline review functionality. I tried adding it as a comment, but hit a character limit. :S I did, however, click the Voted Star on the story.

I also loved the opening for When Water Burns, and definitely will be checking that out. :)
