            *   rue,  despite  being  so  fucked  up  and  not  properly  processing  anything,  was  quick  to  catch  on  to  how  rory  felt  right  now.  which  was  probably  just  because  they’d  been through  this  so  many  times.  otherwise,  she  would  have  been oblivious  to  the  blonde’s  feelings.   *   thank  you.   *   she  spoke.  it  wasn’t  totally  clear  what  she  was  talking  about.  maybe  it  was  that  aurora  had  let  her  in  and  taken  care  of  her,  again.  but  it  was  a  little  more  than  that.  it  was  a  thanks  for  putting  up  with  all  of  her  bullshit  throughout  the  past  few  years.  a  thanks  for  still  taking  care  of  her,  even  though  rory  had  put  in  the  work  and  was  now  sober,  unlike  rue.   *   i  am  going  to  get  better.  i  just  -  not  now.  i’m  not  ready.  not  yet.   *   she  was  clearly  out  of  it,  sounding  more  and  more  ready  to  pass  out  by  the  second.  her  works  were  becoming  mumbles,  she  had  absolutely  no  filter  and  didn’t  even  realize  she  was  speaking.   *
