here’s my story idea:
a uconn softball player and paige, the softball player would be a shortstop preferably (just bc that's one of the most important and normally best players in the field) would start in paige's sophomore year and the softball players freshman year or sophomore year and make her transfer in to uconn. they both went to hopkins together and the softball player is a star in the sport just like paige she was the number one recruit and all that. So they have some tension from that because they both were like subconsciously competing with one another to be the best. I would start it off before or right after school starts and the softball player roommate and nika are really good friends so her and paige are like forced to see each other and the softball players really hit it off with the rest of the wbb team so they start to all hang out a lot and at at first her and paige have a lot of tension and they throw gabs at eachother but then they actually start to talk and become friends and they have a flirtaous friendship pretty quickly. i see this being like a enemies to friends to lovers story and they have a really flirtatious friendship from the jump but both don't know if the others is actually into them or not.
