Both your books have a  great start but one thing to take notice on is when a character says something write it like this
          
          
          Example: "hi" I said sarcastically,
          Make sure to have the"" at the beginning and end to clearly indicate what is being said by who ,and if you continue the sentence, like I’m doing, make sure to use a , .
          
          Example: "I’m good” I replied happily, turning around to look at her approaching figure
