I know I was late to updating Morose and I know I just threw two chapters of two different stories out at you at the same time, and i'm sorry! but my finals are officially over (ya girl passed her classes!!) and i've got like two weeks before the next classes start so hopefully i can spend some time focusing on the mustard yellow couch because i definitely got stuck on a chapter. between super emotional family stuff, holidays, work, and classes, its going to be a busy next few months but writing is an outlet for me, writing doesnt feel like work. let me know what you think of these new chapters, constructive criticism is always welcome c: but i hope you enjoy!

why is it so easy for me to pump out chapter after chapter of some sad, emotional story but trying to write a sweet, no-trauma-added love story, has me sitting halfway through chapter one for like a month? my heart only knows sorrow. i need to expand my craft!

I just published the introduction to my new story, Morose.
          
          this one is really close to me... it’s about grief, friendship, and how healing can be so messy and complicated, and sometimes really hard to look at head-on. Lena’s journey starts in the middle of that fog, where nights are blurring together and her friends are the only thing keeping her afloat.
          
          the intro is pretty raw and imperfect, but that’s exactly where she is right now, stumbling her way through heartbreak. 
          
          it isn't a complete story yet but i have a few chapters ready to go. if you resonate with Lena, i want you to know that it does get better.

I want to create a new "story" but just have each chapter be like, any excerpts i've written that don't really belong to any story. 
          
          but then what if i put them in a story later on? is that like, a spoiler? lol
          
          i just have quite a few little random excerpts that i've written while coping with life and emotions and they don't have a home.

@Seeldh thank you so much! i dont know why i didnt get the notification for these but i really appreciate that encouragement. you really got me thinking that it could be a little scrapbook collection of different stories. i need your thinking skills lol
