What if there were 2 sides of a mirror. What if your reflection wants to keep you on the other side? What if you are able to climb through a mirror, but your reflection keeps standing in front of you, blocking your way. Try to touch the mirror without your reflection touching the same place. Maybe the cold surface isn't the mirror you are touching but the cold flesh of your own reflection, pushing back keeping you inside. Think about that, maybe you are the reflection.

Battle Scars

Little girl: What are those scars on your arms?

          Babysitter: These are battle scars.

Little girl: You fought in a war?

Babysitter: Yes a long and hard one.

Little Girl: That's so cool! Can I get one?

Babysitter: No. Please never get any. But I tell you what, whenever you see someone with battle scars, go and give them a hug, ok? Can you promise me?

          Little girl: I promise.

A few days later they were on a shopping spree. Suddenly the little girl lets go of the babysitter and ran over to the teen and hugged him.

Teen: Why are you hugging me?

Little girl: Because you have battle scars like my babysitter.

The teen looks at the babysitter and the babysitter rolls up her sleeves to show him with tears forming in her eyes.

Teen: My war is far from being finished yet, but I'm not done fighting.

He bends down at eye level with the little girl.

Teen: Thank you for giving me the strength to keep fighting you are forever my war hero.
