oof yall, being gone for a month? dam.
anyways so i was in the psych ward- and im (kinda) better now. i have this thing called dermatophagia which is where you bite your skin constantly as a way to relieve stress and it was getting really bad, the tissue in my hand was getting thinner and more prone to infections. and eventually after that, i was able to break through the skin. now the fact that i broke through the skin myslef without any sharper object is a sign that my skin went into a numb mode in one spot due to continuous pressure and pain. it got infected and i had to go to the hospital. my doctor asked how i had gotten the infection and i told her about what happened and about my condition and all the other fun doctor stuff, you know? so my doctor recommended to my mom that i go to a psych ward to try and help out with my condition, so i did! i still feel the urge to bite myself sometimes but its getting better and i’m so grateful that i can still come on here and say hi to you all (yes, all 27 of you, “so much” i know, right?) and feel seen and included.
always remember: there is hope, you can get help, you can be scared, and you can feel unwanted, unseen, unheard. i love you all, kisses kisses kisses, hugs hugs hugs ❤️❤️❤️
