the past few days were not on my bingo card for 2023
          
          for those who don’t know me personally, my home state was under attack on Wednesday night - a mass sh00ting happened about 25-30 minutes from where my fiancé and myself live. three places were targeted, 20+ were k*lled, 50+ injured, two of these places were full of children. he is still at large and law enforcement has no clue where he has run off to. all we know is we’re petrified of when/if he could strike next. 
          
          i am safe, my family is safe. gun violence is so incredibly real. this terror is so incredibly real and it had never happened here, until it did. i have been planning my rewrites but for now I focus on myself and my family - how we’re going to get through this tragedy as a family and together as a state.
          
          i love each and every one of you.
