          	I'm sorry for going M.I.A. again. The past month was...hell? and I almost drowned in an ocean of assignments.
          	
          	I haven't forgotten about Ride Every Wave. In fact, I've started writing the first half of the prologue [I split it into two parts bc it's going to be quite long] a month ago. Hopefully I'll get around to continue writing it now.
          	
          	In the meantime I would kindly ask those of you who haven't done their character's opinion yet to do so. It impedes writing and plotting quite a bit when I don't know where all of them are standing with each other. :<

˗ˏˋ ☆ 「 REW ANNOUNCEMENT 」☆ ˎˊ˗
          
           ★ I've started assembling the story's cast [writing short profiles for me to work with, creating moodboards and individual arcs, wrapping up my OCs . . .] so if you still have a character left to finish or an unwritten one you'd like to squeeze in, you've got about a week and a half left to do so :)
          
           ★ And I'm genuinely sorry about the delay. I know those of you who submitted a character poured in a lot of work and it's just the worst when the story you've applied for gets ghosted by its own author. I promise I never intend[ed] for that to happen. Life is just not lifing the way it's supposed to be rn and I can't even enjoy the summer as much I'd like to.

Off topic but I was wondering how do people make those transparent background spacers usually with a small image in the middle. Whenever I try it doesn’t upload transparent

@EnidR8 First off you need to save your image as a .png or .tiff.
            Make sure the program you're using to edit supports "alpha channels" [they're responsible for storing an image's transparency] and / or that the picture you plan to use as a spacer has one, and not just a fake-png / actual-checkerboard background.
            
            The problem is that many sites and programs these days still can't display images with transparency properly. And I believe this includes Wattpad [especially the mobile version].
            
            If you want to go with the work-around option, you can give your spacer the same background color as the one you want your story to be read in [white, tan or black].  This might not be the most elegant way, but it could work too and is less for prone to issues.
