I got your comment and I understand that as a reader you got baffled at some point.
I will love to provide a brief summary of the part. The colleagues of the office thought that Evan is asking Talia out. Talia thought the same. But he was just asking her to come to Amber's home party. Also, now he cleared the misunderstanding.
Later, Amber rushed out in a hurry as she got a phone call that her best friend is too drunk to go home. She rescued the friend and brought him back home.
