Wow. I've grown so much since the last time i was truly, fully on here. Looking back now, I see I was an entirely different person with motives that weren't as much focused on writing as they should have been. I got caught up in the social aspect of being on here, and the pressure of writing to satsify others. Nothing I ever wrote felt good enough and I found myself embarrassed any time I published anything. I didn't know how to write for me, and soley me - and it drove me away. I'm still learning now, loving what I write more and more everyday. I decided to come back to this account and finish 'Strangers in the Night'. Afterwards, I don't know if I'll stay, but to have finished a project that I've been working on forever; scraping, rewriting, and revising, finding myself in love with it and at a breaking point wanting nothing more to destroy it, will bring me nothing but joy. Thank you to anyone and everyone that's ever read even the tiniest slither of what I wrote: I love you. Thank you to all the people who've encouraged me while I was on here: I love you.
