Heya,
I'm deciding to take a break from idol's fanfiction, and write general fiction.. Indian fiction!
I've storyline ready in my mind. Made characters. Even written the first chapter.
But tbh, I'm scared... I've prepared everything. But I'm literally scared of publishing this new book! Because it involves real life incidents. I've gone through a lot of research, reading several cases, and building the plot... It's all about protests, riots, goons disguised as protestors who start non-violence; injustice in the country, and also where love blooms through the ashes of a dead person... Slow burn, sweet love but still scared coz of past and even judgements. Their societal difference (higher official x normal person)
So I don't know what to do...
Shall I publish it here? Or not?
Can you give any advice, please?!

@lilminieffs hey, love! Wow, good on you for writing an original story! I think you could post it on here and see how it goes, but keep in mind that most people are into fanfiction so it might not do as well as your other fics. Can’t hurt to post it anyway and see?

To fellow authors! WP is removing individual voting notifications, so now we can’t see who’s voting on our fics ಥ_ಥ
This really sucks as I know some of us used votes as motivation but now we wont have it.
This message is to encourage authors (and readers too so you can help us) to email and report to Wattpad that they need to bring back the individual voting notifications.
Let’s try bring this back because otherwise we might lose more authors!

Hey... i just wanted to ask if you’re still able to see individual votes on your story because I’m not seeing them anymore. At first, i thought it was a glitch, so i reported it to Wattpad but they replied saying it’s actually a new update.
Now, instead of getting notifications for each vote, we only get one message every 24 hours saying something like “9 people voted on your story.” We can’t even see who voted or which chapter they voted on anymore. Honestly, it’s the worst update ever. It really kills the motivation for writers because we have no idea who’s supporting us or engaging with our stories.
I’ve already complained to Wattpad about it, and I hope more writers do the same.
Please spread the word and encourage others to report this too maybe if enough of us speak up, they’ll change it back

Hey guys! Update on me… Now that ‘Not Just a Pretty Face’ is complete, I’m going to take a little break—not too long though! Just a couple weeks for me to play the new Pokemon game that came out lol
I will work on the Jin x Siri fic in between my gaming, and make the banner/cover for it etc, so I hope you can wait a little bit for my next fic to come! ☺️

Do any of you remember when I asked (a few months ago) what fic I should write next, where I gave a list of a few ideas and asked you to choose the top 3 you wanted?
Well… the angsty (with a happy ending) Jin x Siri fic inspired by the song ‘You are the reason’ was voted quite highly, and I’m wondering if you guys still want that? Shall I make it the next fic to work on?
…Coz I’ve kinda already started plotting the storyline… lol (and ps! It would be my first Jin fic!)
