Honestly, I have strong feelings about the entire Janet situation. I believe people are dragging this out unnecessarily, and the interview in question is outdated, as it occurred around the time of the debate when Donald Trump stated that Kamala Harris wasn’t Black. The timing is significant because the question posed seemed to lead to her response. It’s hard to believe anyone would give that kind of answer unless they were directly asked about the subject. I know for a fact that Janet would never make such a statement. She has always stood up for the Black community, especially for Black women. Therefore, it’s disheartening to see people so quickly trying to put her down and cancel her over a statement that was clearly taken out of context. This seems intentional, especially considering the interviewer’s history of speaking negatively about the Jackson family.
