This is making me sick. I don’t mean to get political but as a black person, it makes me fucking hate to be shamed against. We’ve been tossed aside like nothing, shot to death for things that we hadn’t even done wrong, treated like absolute garbage and shapeshifted over generations into more and more of a disgusting stereotype. Described as n(slur) or n(also a slur) and been put below others. We’ve been trying to fight for rights for SO long but now it’s merely become a trend? All these people saying they’re our allies but then merely using our movement to try and have peace amongst us all as a way to gain popularity rating. BLACK LIVES MATTER. MY LIFE MATTERS. OUR LIVES MATTER! It just makes me cry and breakdown every night to know that it took us years to even be heard or seen, when merely something like the new Asian Lives Matter was able to get their own problems slightly resolved all over the world. They got their own commercial, their own movement. No shots, no guns, no nothing. A peaceful resolve. Not saying they don’t matter because they definitely do. But, to know that based on the color of our skin, they could stop their problem but we couldn’t stop ours just because, what? We’re brown? That’s it? What did MLK dream of then? What did Obama want? Everytime we get closer to a happy ending, we end up getting separated again. To the point we’ve began to die for something as simple as sleeping in bed or going to the grocery store. And so many damn more. He couldn’t breathe. 9-10 tens he said he couldn’t breathe. Rest In Peace, George Floyd. I CAN’T BREATHE.
