seo dae-hyun wasn't forced into immortality kicking,
screaming, or crying. he was led there gently by someone
who manipulated him. someone he made the mistake of
trusting. han seung-min, being that someone, taught him
to believe it was where he was meant to be.

࣪ ࣭━── seung-min manages dae-hyun's career and his
addiction. and because seung-min is his maker, his blood
created that connection. seung-min can feel dae-hyun's
hunger. when dae-hyun does get too hungry, seung-min
tightens the leash. he controls when, where, and who
dae-hyun feeds on. and just because he can, seung-min
will sometimes withhold permission on purpose.
࣭ ࣪ ━── seung-min's blood can calm dae-hyun's hunger
instantly. one drop can give dae-hyun a moment of peace
but it also deepens seung-min’s control.
࣭ ࣪ ━── finally, the company markets dae-hyun's vampiric
allure as nothing more than a concept. they make music
videos full of blood imagery and metaphors not knowing
dae-hyun is channeling actual thirst. backstage, dae-hyun
is drained, trembling, and holding back the urge to feed.

t͟r͟i͟g͟g͟e͟r͟ w͟a͟r͟n͟i͟n͟g͟: addiction and eating disorder allegory
࣭ ࣪ ━── dae-hyun's feeding is controlled and strict.
because of this, he's almost always starving. it shows
up in his irritability mistaken for arrogance, sharp words,
trembling hands he tries to hide behind microphones, and
a constant distraction. when fed properly, dae-hyun's voice
softens and he becomes gentle ( sometimes even shy ).
but nobody ever really sees that side of him due to the fact
that he is starving.
࣭ ࣪ ━── the way his feeding is restricted creates a
harmful cycle of his body being deprived of what he
needs. when he does get access to blood, it becomes
overwhelming. he starts associating relief with
desperation instead of care. it mirrors patterns of
loss of control, shame tied to needing it at all despite
needing it to survive, and develops a fear of himself
when he's not "perfectly managed." this isn't a flaw.
more like a result of being controlled and deprived.
࣭ ࣪ ━── seung-min keeps him starved because the
hunger sharpens his expressions on stage, the pain
deepens his voice, and he believes the suffering will
make him unforgettable. it's unfortunate that he's right.
