@MyBear21 TBBC is like a 'what if' story where the character's choices were different to what their decisions were in TBBG. One of Cole's different choices was that he didnt go to Military school, which makes a huge impact to his attitude and stuff. And also to top it off Jay dates Tessa! Who is being really shady. FmI. I guess you could say the author is getting paid to promote the Project Almanac by re-writing her story.
