Sorry for the bother, but I really need a bit of writing advice.
          
          When making self-inserts or oc's in general, how do you approach when making their goal? Since I'm fairly sure you started writing fics because you love the characters. How do you not get lost in making the perfect match for them or making the character too interesting thus making them a bit incompatible?
          
          I'm sorry if it doesn't make sense, but I really do want to know your input on how you describe and give characters goals, ideals and morals.
          
          I've been trying to make a fic myself and I've just been lost in a rabbit hole of researching pre-canon events as well as post canon. The anime is still waiting for Season 2 and I've been trying to get the whole story straight. Believe me, I have dove through many analysis and Tumblr posts. Send help
