[ he was right and that irked her to no end. but she halts when she feels his hand, just as she had turned to take a walk around the crowded room. his touch plus the look in his eyes makes her own expression soften, finding herself nodding ]   oh alright..  only cause you already payed for it.   [ lips forming a grin as she grabs the drink and takes a sip ]   only you could ever get me drinking on a mission. 

@organad ,     you realize waiting around for instructions and doing nothing doesn’t exactly ring the “high alert” bells?   c’mon,  just have a drink with me.  [he says,  taking ahold of her hand to stop her from leaving.  his eyes plead with her as well,  hoping to get her to relax a bit.]

that’s not something to be proud of.   [ she sighs, not even acknowledging the drink that was set in front of her momentarily after ]   why aren’t you taking this seriously?  we have to be focused and on high alert.

@organad ,   [he nods his head at her words,  glancing over at her finally to see her tear stricken face.  oh how he wanted to reach over and wipe those tears off from her face,  take her pain away.]  he will eventually.  

[ she’s surprised by the feel of his hand on hers, turning her head to look at him before down at their hands. no objection was made, instead she seemed to naturally close her fingers around his. they were as rough as she expected but she didn’t mind ]   thank you, han..  i just hope / he / pays for it.  that bastard.   [ her hand squeezes his a little, tears mixed with sadness and anger falling down her face ]   

@organad ,     they sound pretty amazing.  [he breathes out,  he wishes he could relate and perhaps offer some advice but he can’t do either.  what he can do is offer some support in his own way,  he reaches over and takes her hand into his. keeping it there in her lap, he keeps his focus on the memorial in front of him.]   i’m really sorry you lost them.

only because you asked so nicely.  [he teases her,  finally placing the flashlight between her fingers.]  you’re quite welcome.  anything else you need me to reach before i’m off again or will you finally find yourself a stepping stool?

[ she sighs dramatically, knowing it was pointless to try and take it from his grasp. and he wouldn’t give it until she gave into his requests. looking anywhere but his face, she murmurs ]   thank you, han..  now will you give it to me? 

@organad ,    i’d like the thank you beforehand if you don’t mind.  [he says with a smirk,  continuing to hold the flashlight high above the others head.  he really did enjoy giving her a hard time about these things.]
