hey y’all … kinda just disappeared there but honestly i don’t think i’m gonna be active here for a while. my passion for both editing and writing is at an all time low right now with everything going on in my personal life, so i’m gonna be taking a little hiatus for the time being. i don’t know when or if i’m gonna come back, but everyone in this community, especially every single one of my lovely mutuals has made my experience here so much more memorable. i love you all and thank you for the endless support.

if you haven’t noticed, i’ve decided to temporarily unpublish fine line for the time being. i know there wasn’t much published, but the more i try to write for the current plot, the more disconnected i feel from the intended direction i wanted to take with the story. so, rather than pushing through with something I’m increasingly unhappy with, i’m going to take a step back and re-work the plot around in a way that feels more true to what i originally intended with cassie’s story. 
          
          another major factor in this decision is the recent controversy involving ryan guzman. no matter how beloved his character might be on 9-1-1, that doesn’t excuse the fact that the man behind the character continues to engage in behavior that actively harms and disrespects the same communities he profits from. i want to be very clear that i do not condone or support his actions. my passion for this show does not extend to someone who continues to show he doesn’t care about the harm he causes, so when fine line is eventually republished, eddie diaz will be recasted with a new faceclaim. 
          
          with all that being said, once I’ve had the time to restructure and replot everything, updates will be much more consistent along with my current fics after fine line comes back. for now, thank you all for your support so far, it means the absolute world <3
