Hi! I'm so sorry for messaging you out of nowhere, but I could really use some advice.
I just received a message on Wattpad saying that my story views and account features may be limited unless I complete an identity verification process. It also asks me to provide my bank details through a link. (you can see it in my conversation space)
I'm reaching out to a few people I follow because I'm honestly not sure what to do. Have you ever received a message like this? Do you know if it's genuine or if it's some kind of scam?
I'm a bit worried and wanted to check with someone before clicking anything or sharing any information.

@sofiaxaaronwarner No worries! A few people told me it was probably a scam too, so I reported it. The message disappeared from my conversation board afterwards, so I guess it's gone now Thankfully, I didn't give them any of my bank details, so everything's okay! Thank you so much for replying though, I really appreciate it.

@smokeypixel i dont use wattpad a lot, but i would recommend not putting your bank details in, as it may be a scam. sorry if this doesn't help....
