Time and time again, would-be suitors have tried and failed, their broken promises of love leaving behind haunting remnants that stalk the castle halls.
          
          When 17-year-old Eira, desperate to save her sick brother, offers herself as the next trial, she has no illusions about love. Armed with wit, determination, and a plan to fake her way through the prince’s curse, she believes she can break it without risking her heart. But as the castle reveals its secrets, Eira discovers the curse isn’t what it seems, and the Glass Prince isn’t just a tragic figure—he’s cold, manipulative, and far too willing to test her resolve.
          
          To survive the trial, Eira must confront not only the prince’s flaws but her own—and the truth that breaking the curse may require more than love. It may demand everything.

          Natalia is the quintessential mirrorball—constantly spinning, constantly reflecting, always trying to live up to everyone’s expectations. She’s meticulous, driven, and her anxiety is practically a second skin. She wants to be the girl who has everything under control, but more often than not, she feels like she’s on the verge of falling apart. 
          
          She’s the kind of person who stays up late obsessing over details and double-checking every little thing, haunted by the fear of letting someone down. Burnt out from years of trying to be the perfect daughter, the perfect student, and the perfect friend, Natalia is almost painfully self-aware of her flaws. She can be clingy when it comes to the few people she trusts but is also fiercely independent, convinced that no one else will get things right if she doesn’t handle them herself. She tries to be sassy and witty, but it’s often tempered by her neurotic tendencies and a hidden softness she guards fiercely. While she might look composed on the outside, inside she’s constantly fighting between her need for validation and her exhaustion with everyone’s demands.

          Noah West:
          
          On the surface, Noah comes off as the effortlessly funny class clown, the guy who could charm his way out of detention with a wink and a half-baked excuse. But beneath the jokes and quick comebacks, he's much more complex—a tangled mix of self-doubt, anxiety, and the need to please. He’s the type who acts as though life’s just one big comedy, masking a deep well of insecurities with humor and an easygoing attitude. 
          
          Growing up in a strict household, Noah learned early that affection is conditional, and he’s spent most of his life performing for others, trying to earn approval he rarely receives. His relationships are filled with hidden doubts and tension between his longing for connection and the armor he’s built to keep himself safe. He’s obsessive about being seen as reliable, bending over backward for friends and family, even when it chips away at his own sense of self. Noah is hyper-independent—afraid of burdening anyone with his struggles—yet he craves emotional closeness in a way that sometimes makes him clingy. He’s a “mirrorball” type who reflects back what people want to see, but under the bright lights, he’s holding himself together by a thread.
