his mother had his entire escape planned out. she knew someone on the surface — someone indebted to her. it was a middle aged man , the owner of a small store. aukai works there now .. he hasn't really gotten the hang of it. he's great at customer service , but terrible at everything else.
he's still learning how to speak. vocal cords are new to him — they communicated telepathically in mångata.
he often does strange and random things. he doesn't do it intentionally — he's still learning about things.
he's the type of person to wake up looking like he stepped out of a magazine. he just always looks like that — this is common for his kind.
he doesn't really understand the concept of personal space.
he's really really curious. it gets him in trouble sometimes.
he has a fake identity made for him by the man who's hiding him. his full name on earth is Koa Fujiwara — he doesn't like not being able to give out his real name , but Koa is a nickname his brother called him , so he doesn't mind too much. his surname is the same as the man who's looking after him — he's basically posing as his son.
he loves music.
he thinks aquariums are prisons for sea creatures.
he doesn't eat anything but fish. anything else will make him physically ill.

ABILITIES :
| the ocean blessed him from birth. she saw a light in the boy and became his protector. she speaks to him , even while he's on the land. her voice was loud before — easy to hear. now , away from the ocean , it's only a whisper.
| his song is powerful enough to control an army. he's scared of his own capabilities , so he doesn't use it unless absolutely necessary.
| he's able to heal flesh wounds , but nothing that isn't physical. he can't cure the ill. he also can't restore something that is no longer attached to the body. meaning : he can't regrow limbs if they're completely detached.
| he can control water — this actually isn't common in his kingdom. the ocean helps them but doesn't listen. aukai , on the other hand , is loved by everything aquatic. the ocean , animals , and yes — even the water that is no longer part of the sea.
| he has a second eyelid , so he doesn't really blink .. more of a physical trait than an ability.
| he has a strong sense of smell. he can identify a person just by their scent.
| he moves faster than a human would. he's faster in the water , but he's still fast on land.

THE KING : a man who desired to rule so badly that he found a way to steal the bodies of his children. a new king was never crowned — it had always been him.
THE ( CURRENT ) QUEEN : found out the truth after they were wed. while she was horrified by the idea , she had no way of getting out. not that she wanted to — she had two boys and an entire kingdom to look after.
THE HEIR : the perfect image of a prince. he would have been an ideal candidate for a king. the kingdom was devastated when they learned of his passing.
