when you see a fic and check when it was last updated, do you ever wonder where they are? i wonder if they've forgotten their stories, if their lives have changed for the better to the point they no longer need to live in fantasy as i do. i wonder if they think about the characters they left behind on those pages, on those cliffhangers, and choose to leave them that way. i hope they are well.
