@somesortaway You know, I read somewhere "A writer can never be just a writer, the world does not allow that." And it's actually so true. Sometimes we are forced to make a hobby out of the passion that runs deep, as to not let go of it completely. And I know it can get pretty frustrating when there's so much creativity inside, but because of time, responsibilities, and circumstances, you can't seem to turn it into your desired art.

Hii, di. I hope you're doing good. Well, I wanted to share something, "The way I see you" was probably the third or fourth ishman fic I have read, and the first one I thoroughly and completely enjoyed. It pretty much had everything I wanted and more, I absolutely loved the characterization and dynamics between Ishan and Shubman, both of them were such cuties in the story, thinking about their adorable moments still makes me swoon. That story is my comfort fic, I have reread it a lot of times till now (I will randomly open a chapter to read anytime and anywhere). I absolutely love everything you write, not only you are a wonderful writer but to me your stories also evoke a sense of familiarity and comfort, like a soothing ache in my heart (Okay, now I don't know how ache can be soothing, but please shabdo ko chhodiye aur bhavnao ko samajhiye, lol). Everything you write is always a treat to read, I absolutely love it, thank you for choosing to write on Wattpad, I'm so freaking glad for that. Keep smiling ♥️ :)) <333!!!

Your intention was certainly translated into absolute perfection, "The way I see you" is actually the ultimate comfort fic and no matter how many more comes, though they're amazing, this story is always going to be my absolute favourite, my no. 1 story in this fandom. Tbh, I started writing the way I see you because I wanted a comfort fic and at the time there were such few fics on them.. now there are so many amazing ones. The thing with writing RPF is that there are side-characters you write lovingly but later their real life shenanigans makes you want to change some of your favorite chapters.
I guess, sometimes the sky is blue and other times it’s grey.
